P2C Renewal – Affiliate Requirements
The Center for Demography and Ecology is preparing for the highly anticipated P2C center grant renewal. As part of this renewal application, we have named several key personnel, and as such will ask you for several pieces of information by July 31, 2026.
What we need from you:
- Send your updated CV to cde@ssc.wisc.edu
- Review your Affiliate Profile on cde.wisc.edu and submit profile changes and a recent headshot to naomi.conn@wisc.edu
- Respond to the Affiliate Survey
- Send your compliant NIH Common Form Biosketch to cde@ssc.wisc.edu (See instructions below)
Building your Biosketch:
Step 1: Ensure your MyNCBI/SciENcv, eRA Commons, & ORCID accounts are created, updated, & linked.
- Have you submitted a NIH Grant since May 2026 and are familiar with the new process?
- See step-by-step Instructions for creating, updating, and linking your accounts
- The Ebling Library provides additional education and consultation services for creating and managing researcher profiles if you need additional assistance
- Are you unfamiliar with the new process for updating and linking your accounts?
- Make an appointment with Ebling Library Services for assistance. Contact staff members Paije Wilson (paije.wilson@wisc.edu) or Trisha Adamus (adamus@wisc.edu)

Step 2: Once your accounts are set up and linked, you can create and certify your Biosketch in SciENcv.
- Instructions for creating your Biosketch
- Biosketch Examples
- For the “Products Closely Related to the Proposed Project” section:
- 5 selected publications related to your CDE research area(s)
- For the “Other Significant Products Highlighting Contributions to Science” section:
- 5 selected publications related to your contributions to science
- Please ensure the following information is in your “Personal Statement“ section:
- Current or previous roles within CDE (leadership, mentoring, training, committee roles)
- Year your CDE affiliation began
- Your CDE research area(s)
- For the “Contributions to Science” section:
- Briefly describe your most significant contributions to science as related to your CDE research area(s)
Step 3: Email your Certified Biosketch to cde@ssc.wisc.edu
