About

Anton Babkin is a Research Assistant Professor at the Applied Population Laboratory. His research agenda involves collaborators across academic disciplines using both publicly available and confidential federal administrative data to help decision makers develop more effective public policies and improve outcomes in rural America. Babkin has developed an active research program that includes rural economic development and the food-and-agriculture supply chain. His research emphasis is on the principles of open and reproducible science that facilitates collaboration within a distributed research environment ensuring robustness and replicability while maintaining data confidentiality.
