Héctor Pifarré i Arolas is an Assistant Professor of Public Affairs. An applied population economist, his research focuses on two main areas: the connection between fertility and labor market outcomes, and health and mortality inequality. He has also worked on evaluating the direct and indirect impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic on health outcomes and healthcare access. He currently serves as associate editor of the European Journal of Ageing.
