Monday, May 12th, 9:45am-4:15pm to Tuesday, May 13th, 9:30-4:00pm with a gathering at the Memorial Union Terrace to follow from 4:00-5:15pm.

This two-day workshop co-sponsored by the Center for Demography & Ecology, the Center for Demography of Health & Aging, and the Departments of Sociology and Economics will be led by Russell Dimond of the SSCC and facilitated by CDE Associate Director Christine Schwartz. Guest speakers include Martin Eiermann, Karl Vachuska, and Leafia Ye. Hands-on training will lead attendees through the steps to webscrape with attention to ethics and reproducibility, and will use examples applicable to demography, population science, and health.
