Since its founding in 1962, the Center for Demography in Ecology has served as hub for population research at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. To celebrate sixty years of innovation and collaboration, CDE will host an anniversary celebration and conference October 7-8, 2022 on the UW campus.

Friday, October 7
Noon: Welcome and lunch
Afternoon: Conference sessions and discussions
Early Evening: Hosted cocktail hour and research poster session: spotlighting early career scholars
Evening: Independent dinner

Saturday, October 8
Early Morning: Optional guided morning exercise! Lake bike ride and Picnic Point walk
Morning: Breakfast, Conference sessions and discussions
Lunch: Hosted group lunch plus optional “Research careers outside the academy” mentoring lunch
Afternoon: Conference sessions and discussions
Evening: Hosted dinner overlooking Lake Mendota
